This program prepares you for New York State certification in childhood special education (grades 1-6).
The 童年 Special 教育 (Grades 1-6) major prepares you to teach children in grades 1-6 with special needs and learning disabilities.
The curriculum includes classes focused on working with this developmental demographic, in addition to a core curriculum of general education courses. As part of the degree program, all students will be required to sit for the New York State Teacher Certification Examinations. This program pairs well with our 童年 教育 for dual certification in 童年 and 童年 Special 教育.
